Research Assistant

Essential Functions (Principal Duties And Job Responsibilities)

• Affiliate in the data collection through clinical chart reviews, surveys, MRI imaging, and other approaches.
• Affiliate in patient or subject recruitment if needed.
• Input, organize, and manage data using various software tools and databases.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis and scientific report.
• Participate in the development and implementation of data collection protocols to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Provide administrative support for research projects, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and maintaining project documentation.
• Prepare presentations and create visual data representations for internal and external stakeholders, write manuscripts.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

• Proven experience in data collection and analysis, preferably in a healthcare or research setting.
• Strong understanding of data privacy standards and practices, particularly HIPAA.
• Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and database management.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Must be in town and have personal transportation.
