About the role
This position will perform experiments and AI modeling for the work proposed under the SEED grant awarded to Drs. Bhattacharya and Ray. The grant and the data collected will support the submission of extramural research awards to NIH and NSF.
Responsibilities
- Perform molecular dynamic simulations related to different proteins
- Analyze data, graph, and interpret results
- Help shape papers or reviews related to the work
- Coordinate with PIs and report to them the overall deliverables
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field
- Prior experience in AI, MD simulation, and working in a laboratory setting where AI and biological modeling are the focus
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer, online system, and web skills
- Strong work ethic and team-based approach to working in a high-volume environment
- Superior writing skills
- Positive, welcoming personality with demonstrated customer service experience
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work comfortably, respectfully, and competently with people of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Available for occasional work on evenings and weekends, as event schedules may require

Schedule
