Schedule
Full Time - 7am-3pm or 9am-5pm
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support (30%)
- Complete basic administrative duties (data entry, filing, etc.) for the Research Department.
- Assist Director of Research in fulfilling material and information requests, ordering office supplies, mailing letters and invitations, etc.
- Track budgets, credit card statements, and other reports. Process payments for check requests and invoices through Finance software and file accordingly.
- Assist with research compliance and administrative activities by maintaining research records, supporting regulatory and ethical requirements (including IRB processes), preparing documentation for audits and reviews, and ensuring research-related documents are accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Research Support (70%)
- Assist in recruitment of study participants and study projects.
- Collect data using a variety of methods and enter data into research database(s), such as REDCap and SPSS.
- Perform literature reviews of scholarly articles to support the development of research proposals, reports, and publications.
- Assist in the drafting and development of research papers, reports, and presentations for academic journals, conferences, and other scholarly outlets.
- Assist in preparing grant proposals and funding applications.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Ability to move throughout the campus as necessary to perform job duties and functions.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Sedentary work requiring sitting for sustained periods of time at desk and computer.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
- A minimum of at least one college-level course in statistics.
- Experience in mental health or addiction treatment or research.
- Attention to detail in work assignments.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and to prioritize work.
- If in recovery, one year of continuous, uninterrupted sobriety preferred.
Skills
- Must be able to follow directions and make independent decisions when necessary.
- Must possess good spelling and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Word, Excel, and SPSS software programs.
- Must have exceptional organizational and communications skills, as well as an ability to perform effectively in a confidential environment.
- Must demonstrate versatility and flexibility in a busy environment.
