- Collects and compiles data from various sources
- Enters data into a PC or computer terminal
- Statistically analyzes data including calculating mean, median, and standard deviation, plotting scattergrams, and performing multiple regression analysis
- Edits research papers, project reports, proposals, and curriculum materials
- Prepares formats for data final disposition and maintains an internal library on project information resources and collected data
- Works with research personnel in designing and preparing research projects and recording data
Nearly Continuous: Office environment
Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead
Bachelor's degree in a Social or Behavioral Science, Liberal Arts, or a field related to the area of research, or equivalent (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience)
One year of experience in research and analytical techniques
Demonstrated statistical and quantitative analysis experience
Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required
