Research Assistant - Adjunct

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform research as directed (e.g., detect and characterize the ocean’s acoustic environment)
• Support report writing as required
• Maintain documentation of research and data infrastructure
• Participate in UNH-industry collaboration as required

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Knowledge of passive and active acoustics, ocean sound dynamics, and environmental modeling

Compensation Pay Range: $20/hour

The position is an adjunct hourly staff research position.

Benefits

The position is supported by external sponsor funding. Continued employment in this role is contingent upon the availability of those external funds. If, for any reason, the sponsor funding is reduced or discontinued, employment may be subject to modification or termination in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
