Minimum $43,000.00 – Maximum $45,000.00. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and internal pay comparison.
About the role
The research assistant for this project will serve several functions with a fair amount of autonomy once adequate training and supervision has been provided. This position requires access to confidential participant information to coordinate between sites and interviewers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interviewer schedules and work with individual study sites to fill available assessment openings.
- Ensure interviewers have access to appropriate participant information and necessary contact information for local emergency services in the event interviewers need to initiate a wellness check.
- Coordinate collection, scanning, and mailing of paper interviewer measures (e.g., diagnostic interviews).
- Assist study staff with regulatory oversight tasks for both local (Boston University) and national (centralized IRB) IRBs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related area.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant research experience, ideally involving trauma-specific work (e.g., PTSD research).
Pay
Minimum $43,000.00 – Maximum $45,000.00
