Core Job Functions
- Sets up and operates various scientific apparatus and makes minor repairs.
- Premps correspondence and answers phones.
- Formulates and maintains bibliographies and completes applications and forms.
- Orders laboratory supplies and maintains culture media reagents.
- Reviews and edits various materials for publication and prepares publication schedules.
- Maintains appropriate logs, records, and study notebooks.
Qualifications
- CORE QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Undergraduate Degree related to Public Health preferable.
- Experience: Minimum 1 Year Of Relevant Experience
- Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.Commitment to the University’s core values.Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.

- Department Specific Functions
- Organizes and maintains a system for monitoring of subjects enrolled on longitudinal studies and assures collection of data in a timely manner.
- Prepares and organizes data to promote efficient computer entry.
- Demonstrates knowledge of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, IRB review, reporting requirements and regulatory affairs.
- Oversees schedule and follows-up on progress in patient’s chart and performs retrospective chart reviews.
- Communicates with internal and/or external regulatory oversight entities (e.g. IRB, NIH).
- Participates in the development of protocol roadmaps or flow sheets and may participate in the completion of reports and forms.
- Strong bilingual (English and Spanish) reading, writing and oral communication skills preferable.
