About The Opportunity Our client, a leading organization in the consumer products industry, is seeking a Research & Development Assistant to support product testing activities within their laboratory environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, following detailed procedures, and contributing to the development and testing of innovative products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with measurements and data, and eager to support a collaborative R&D team. Responsibilities Conduct product testing in a laboratory settingFollow established testing procedures and work instructionsTake accurate measurements and record test resultsEnter and maintain testing data using computer systemsOrganize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work areaAssist with additional research and development activities as neededSupport department goals by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentComfortable using computers for data entry and documentationBasic math skills and ability to work with measurementsExperience using measuring tools such as:RulersMeasuring tapesCalipersScalesStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsEffective time management and organizational skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilities Physical Requirements Standing and walking for the majority of the workdayFrequent use of hands and measuring equipmentAbility to occasionally lift and move items up to 20 poundsAbility to work safely around common hand tools and testing equipment Why Apply? Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
