Our Associate Scientist/Engineer roles focus on innovating, developing, and manufacturing consumer products. As a highly collaborative company, you will work with technical and commercial partners while coaching others to realize their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

  • Feel ownership of your project from the beginning, with specific projects and responsibilities assigned as of Day 1.
  • Work in a dynamic and encouraging environment, tackling a diverse array of interesting problems.
  • Receive continuous mentorship, including formal training and day-to-day guidance from your manager.

Possible Areas of Work

  • Products Research: Deeply understand consumer needs to inform product design parameters for new or improved products.
  • Packaging & Device Development: Create and improve packages and devices that delight consumers and retailers, ensuring superior function, premium design, and sustainability.
  • Process Development & Pilot Plant Operations: Translate ideas, concepts, and technologies into commercially feasible manufacturing processes.
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S): Develop mathematical models to accelerate innovation and impact across R&D functions.
  • Data Science: Communicate complex data or algorithms into actionable insights, transforming business decision-making through advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • Completion of a BS or MS in engineering, life or physical science fields such as Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Analytical and Data Science, Microbiology, Packaging Science, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking, active listening, and written and verbal communication skills.

Positions are located in Boston and Cincinnati.

$85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year.
