Research and Development (R&D) Engineer/Lab Tech- Co-op

Job Description Provide developmental support in Pilot Plant by assisting machine operator, planning and executing trials, and implement solutions for operations. Assistance in Pilot plant will include operation of machine from a first person perspective. Planning and execution of trials will include following the development cycle through our internal operations to finished product. Implementation of operations solutions will include projects to identify inventory, run rates, and extruder-laminator run parameters. Test plans will include organizing analysis requests for both long term and short term testing needs. Package testing will include, but is not limited to heat seals, mullen burst, caliper, basis weight, COF, tensile strength and elongation, and permeation. Write reports summarizing findings. Use of Strong analytical practices.
