Research and Development Intern

Job Location Beavercreek, Ohio, United States Tracking Code 1412-383 Position Type Intern The Intern students will gain real-world work experience in their academic interest. During the program, interns will work with an established software engineering team to actively contribute to an existing product or internal project. Students will meet daily with the existing engineering team and will participate in team activities such as work planning, standups, tracking work assignments and retrospectives. What We Are Looking For We are looking for a student who wants to further their education beyond what is possible in a typical school setting, or potentially meet a requirement for a work embed for class. Previous experience in computer science or cybersecurity classesExtracurricular experience participating in Cybersecurity or Programming CompetitionsKnowledge of JavaScript, Python, Java, Shell, or other comparable programming languagesStrong verbal/written communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of the Linux operating systemAn understanding of version control with Git is a plusPrevious employment (summer or part-time work) is a plusThis position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.
