Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering, design, and continuous improvement of high-voltage transmission systems.
- Execute electrical stress analysis and dielectric design on system components utilizing finite element analysis applications.
- Refine component geometries to minimize electrical stress and enhance overall product reliability.
- Spearhead the research and testing initiatives required to transition legacy insulation materials to environmentally friendly synthetic alternatives.
- Tailor systems to meet specific customer requirements involving complex insulation and voltage parameters.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and procurement, to validate new components and source optimal materials.
- Ensure all designs comply strictly with industry frameworks, including ANSI, NEMA, and IEC standards.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience utilizing finite element analysis software for symmetrical modeling, specifically tools like Maxwell or COMSOL.
- Working knowledge of both traditional and alternative gas insulation systems.
- Familiarity with global electrical manufacturing standards.

Qualifications
- Must-Haves:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Three to five years of professional engineering experience.
- Direct, hands-on experience working with high-voltage power applications or in high-voltage testing environments.
- A strong technical aptitude paired with a proven motivation to learn complex simulation tools.
