Research and Development Associate

About the role

Pavco Inc., a 75+ year old private company based in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Research and Development Associate to join their team in Charlotte, North Carolina. The position involves supporting the development of metal coating technologies through collaboration with sales, marketing, and technical service departments.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside senior R&D engineers to support new and existing research projects for future product releases.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical service departments to ensure comprehensive project support.

Requirements

• General aptitude in math and sciences.
• Hands-on experience in wet chemistry preferred.
• Experience within the chemical industry and/or electroplating is preferred, but not required.
• High school degree or equivalent, associate degree in scientific field preferred.
• Safety training is a plus.
• Willingness to handle hazardous chemicals safely, lifting 5-20 pounds regularly.
• Reliable, able to multi-task, punctual, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of career experience preferred.

Qualifications
