Responsibilities
- Perform complex research and gather statistical information from a variety of datasets to support the Division's policy research, development of reporting metrics for state and federal requirements, and conduct programmatic evaluation of grant-funded services.
- Develop, analyze, and recommend improvements to research and analysis methodologies, prepare technical reports, and maintain project documentation to support section-wide management activities using a variety of software/tools such as Power Bi, SPSS, SAS, R SQL, and/or Tableau.
- Conduct investigative research or statistical analysis as part of the Division's mission to promote an integrated and comprehensive behavioral health system based on sound policy, effective practices, and partnerships.
- Advise others on technical issues related to research and data analysis.

Skills
Knowledge of the scientific principles, methods, and processes used to conduct a systematic and objective inquiry, including study design, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data; and the reporting of results.
