About the role
This position will support the administrative research enterprise and manage a large-scale federally funded research grant within the Office of Research.
Responsibilities
- Supports the successful administrative execution of the project by overseeing post-award compliance
- Tracks project milestones
- Supports the Principal Investigator (PI) with reporting and stakeholder coordination
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field required
- Applicable work experience in lieu of education (4+ years)
- Exceptional organizational skills, including being detail-oriented and keeping organized and accurate records
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to act as an effective liaison
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, and work well with staff of all levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Preferred) in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field
- Experience working in research administration, program management, or grants accounting in an academic institution preferred
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and office productivity software
