About the role

This position will support the administrative research enterprise and manage a large-scale federally funded research grant within the Office of Research.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the successful administrative execution of the project by overseeing post-award compliance
  • Tracks project milestones
  • Supports the Principal Investigator (PI) with reporting and stakeholder coordination

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field required
  • Applicable work experience in lieu of education (4+ years)
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including being detail-oriented and keeping organized and accurate records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to act as an effective liaison
  • Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter, and work well with staff of all levels

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (Preferred) in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience working in research administration, program management, or grants accounting in an academic institution preferred

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools and office productivity software
