Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules; prepare production packets (production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily food-service operations, ensuring safety and quality per Aramark policies and procedures.
• Oversee food storage, service, and inventory; maintain accurate weekly inventory records.
• Prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor staff; foster teamwork, efficiency, and morale.
• Maintain a sanitary, safe, and hazard-free environment; complete food-safety and temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment; recommend equipment upgrades as needed.
• Fill in for absent employees at the location when necessary.
• Manage daily catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery.
• Work occasional nights and weekends for catered events.
• Attend food-service staff meetings and maintain clear communication with staff.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Promote positive public relations.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager.

Requirements

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during the first year of employment.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient, cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in multi-tasking.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 to $23.00.
