Reroller Coordinator_Lamination 3rd Shift

This position coordinates Rerolling activities at our York, PA facility (76 Acco Drive, York, PA 17402).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize jobs to meet on-time shipments and maximize resource efficiency.
• Assist with quality checks, ERP transactions, and coordinate breaks to eliminate downtime.
• Ensure daily work instruction adherence and provide general direction to Reroller Operators and Assistants.
• Oversee and ensure timely and complete execution of on-the-job training (OJT) for Reroller Operators and Assistants.
• Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings.
• Coordinate work across all rerolling resources to meet a 99% on-time shipment target.
• Combine released orders to improve operational efficiency.
• Pre-stage material for rerollers.
• Ensure operators are trained in and perform required safety and quality checks.
• Verify timely completion of OJT checklists for Operators and Assistants.
• Ensure the area is restocked at the end of each shift.
• Correct data entry errors as needed.
• Operate machines with minimal supervision to reroll material:
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform general preventive maintenance of assigned machines.
  • Set machines to run required thickness to ordered length.
  • Power on machines and feed peeled material through them.
  • Fulfill orders according to production order roll length.
  • Plastic wrap finished rolls as required.
  • Place scrap material in regrind bin or dumpster.
  • Print Production log ID labels.
  • ID and stage finished rolls for put-away using appropriate equipment and label as required.
  • Perform core preparation responsibilities (apply tape, apply foam wedges, etc.).
• Adhere to and follow all quality guidelines.
