Reroll Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operates annular roll end equipment to reform ends of HEL-COR pipe
• Affords assistance to HEL-COR Operator in performing diameter changes, coil changes/splices, and mill re-tooling (mill change over)
• Operates overhead crane, coil buggy or forklift to assist in coil changes
• Inspects rolled ends for defects and ensures they meet specifications
• Trims end of pipe using cutting torch or other metal cutting method to ensure ends are straight
• Helps to ensure that all finished products meet CONTECH quality standards

Requirements

• Great work ethic
• Driver’s License
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Certification on forklift operation (preferred)
