About the role
The Requirements Planner at Lockheed Martin plays a crucial role in ensuring that all project requirements are accurately captured, documented, and managed throughout the lifecycle of a project. This individual works closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure that all project deliverables meet the specified requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project requirements documentation
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and document project requirements
- Ensure alignment between project requirements and technical specifications
- Facilitate requirement traceability and manage changes to project requirements
- Support the development of project plans and schedules based on requirements
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or requirements engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Qualifications
- Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches
- Knowledge of project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project)
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and their integration with project requirements
