Requirements Logistician III - USCG

Position Overview

Provide support to the United States Coast Guard (USCG), CG‑AIR’s Aviation Logistics Center (ALC), Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC), and Office of Aeronautical Engineering (CG‑AIR‑E).

Responsibilities

• Independently manage analysis, development, and implementation of requirements for various CG‑AIR divisions.
• Collaborate with CG‑AIR personnel and other commands to identify requirements.
• Conduct market research and plan projects.
• Prepare requisition packages including Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements, and other acquisition documents.
• Confirm requisition packages comply with regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
• Track action items; update customers on project status; manage acquisition information.
• Review deliverables for technical accuracy.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously; create schedules and develop plans and milestones.
• Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, and briefs.
• Develop methods, plans, and documents to streamline procedures, reduce costs, and support long‑term planning.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
• Ability to work with minimal Government oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field; OR high school diploma with at least three years of experience in procurement, logistics, program management, supply chain management, legal, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications

• Intermediate experience with ALMIS.
• Intermediate experience with AMMIS.
• One year experience in USCG procedures.
• Proficiency in ALMIS.
• Proficiency in AMMIS.
