Representative, Trade Promotions

Under the direct supervision of the manager and in collaboration with senior team members, the Representative, Trade Promotions performs detailed analytical and customer-service work related to day-to-day coupon settlement operations.

Responsibilities

• Answer live 800-line calls for designated clients, collecting and analyzing data in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Receive and respond to email requests and inquiries by collecting and analyzing data to resolve issues.
• Add new coupon submitters to the Submitter Master File and determine appropriate payment disposition based on research.
• Complete override requests from CPG manufacturers as requested.
• Research returned mail using available resources and update the database accordingly.
• Interact with clients, retailers, processing plants, and third-party vendors to resolve inquiries.
• Perform special projects (e.g., conversions, de-conversions, research) to maintain assigned accounts.
• Identify and troubleshoot client problems, educating and training clients on services and industry policies.
• Research and reconcile manufacturers’ chargeback payment denials by contacting accounts receivable departments.
• Relay pertinent client account information to sales, client services, and senior management as needed.
• Handle oral and written communication on client-related matters to resolve issues and establish guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive files and records for assigned accounts, including customer information and correspondence.
• Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks.
