Reporting & Product Analyst
About the role
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Reporting and Product Analyst to join the Financial Services team. The team improves merchant's financial health by creating integrated payment solutions and building tools to help merchants manage their cash flow. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of data engineering, product strategy, and business operations.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Business Intelligence Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and self-serve reporting models in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption, engagement, retention, and conversion.
Automated Data Delivery: Standardize and schedule weekly, monthly, and quarterly product performance reports for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Data Quality & Governance: Audit and validate reporting pipelines to ensure data integrity, consistent metric definitions, and accurate tracking across systems.
User Behavior Analysis: Analyze end-to-end user journeys, feature utilization, and funnel drop-offs using quantitative techniques (cohort analysis, segmentation, session tracking).
Experimentation & Launch Tracking: Help establish baseline metrics for new feature releases, set up tracking specs, and analyze pre/post-launch performance or A/B test results.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct deep-dive data investigations to answer pressing product questions, uncover root causes of unexpected metric spikes/drops, and identify growth or UX improvement opportunities.
Stakeholder Enablement: Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into measurable framework goals (e.g., OKRs) and define tracking requirements for development teams.
Data Literacy: Train non-technical stakeholders on how to interpret dashboards and leverage self-serve analytics tools for daily decision-making.
Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or reporting analyst roles within a software, SaaS, or tech-driven organization.
Data & Querying Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions) for querying large relational databases.
BI & Data Visualization: Hands-on experience building and publishing production-level dashboards using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
Product Analytics Tools: Experience using event-based tracking platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, or Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Python or R for statistical analysis, data manipulation, or automated scripting; familiarity with Agile software development practices and tracking tools like Jira and Confluence; experience working with modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.

Valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
On-site Monday through Friday.
