Reporting Financial Analyst (Wichita, Kansas)

About the role

Participate in the Learjet reporting process for Actuals/Forecast and Budget. Prepare all reporting related to the fringe benefits process. Contribute to key financial deliverables (account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries). Partner with the shared services team to manage and oversee capitalizable projects / cash monitoring / tax reporting / etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderate account analysis, for example, sales tax, fixed assets, and lease related accounts.
• Support governance activities to ensure accuracy and quality of financial reporting.
• Support quarterly financial reporting and collaborate with Finance teams and external auditors.
• Participate in project initiatives and provide support on ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA designation holder.
• Minimum of 4 years Accounting or Financial Analyst experience (taxes, fixed assets etc.).
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) would be an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and demonstrate initiative, commitment and perseverance.
• Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
