Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist

About the role

A day in the life of a Reporting & Data Visualization Specialist involves:

• Maintaining a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and being an effective witness for Him.
• Managing the development, implementation, and advancement of data analysis software (Tableau, Tableau Prep, Knime).
• Communicating with OCC management to develop and manage static and dynamic data dashboards.
• Maintaining advanced knowledge of existing data sources.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of data processes, workflows, and standards.
• Assisting in conducting a variety of application testing.
• Training staff on the utilization and interpretation of the Tableau dashboard reports.
• Providing technical support for OCC departments, events, and processing seasons.
• Serving at least one week in an OCC processing center during OCC processing season.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Proficiency in data visualization principals and tools (Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView).
• Thorough knowledge of the ETL process.
• Experience with core data management principles and practices.
• Prominent data and statistical analysis ability.
• Ability to translate data into a visual dashboard.
• Thorough knowledge of technology testing techniques and documentation process.
• Proven ability to train and coach staff in business processes.
• Strong communicator and presenter; customer service skills.
• Proven project management experience.
• Working knowledge of MySQL (preferred).

Qualifications

Education and experience requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Management, or closely related discipline.
• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology or Data Management.
• Project management certificate preferred.
• Twelve credit hours of college level Biblical studies strongly preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is full-time.
