Reporter/MSJ

Responsibilities

Report, write, shoot and edit news stories for broadcast and digital platforms. Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media to enhance stories. Consistently pitch strong story ideas. Maintain the highest journalistic standards in every story you cover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field
• Strong understanding of journalism ethics and best practices with a minimum of three years of experience in broadcast journalism or a related field
• Experience with shooting video, video editing, and web content management systems
• Ability to generate creative, engaging, content-driven live shots
• Strong social media skills and presence
• Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop (a plus)
