Reporter

About the role

This role can be performed anywhere within the United States. We are currently seeking a reporter to join our team. This general assignment reporter will write daily news stories on corporate litigation and the legal industry as well as federal and state legislative, regulatory and enforcement actions.

Responsibilities

• Write daily news stories on corporate litigation and the legal industry
• Cover federal and state legislative, regulatory and enforcement actions

Requirements

• At least one year of full-time, paid reporting experience
• Demonstrated reporting and writing skills

Preferences

• Experience reporting for a legal audience
• Experience working a beat

Pay

Salary: $72,500/annually

• Primary Location Base Pay Range (New York, NY - 9 East 38th Street): $20,600 - $34,400
• U.S. National Base Pay Range: $17,100 - $28,700
• Base Pay Range for CO: $17,100 - $28,700
• Base Pay Range for IL: $18,000 - $30,100
• Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL: $18,900 - $31,500
• Base Pay Range for MD: $18,000 - $30,100
• Base Pay Range for NY: $18,900 - $31,500
• Base Pay Range for New York City: $20,600 - $34,400
• Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY: $17,100 - $28,700
• Base Pay Range for OH: $16,300 - $27,200
• Base Pay Range for NJ: $20,328 - $32,472
