Responsibilities

• Develop stored procedures, build reports and data extracts that meet client requirements
• Provide solutions that are in line with established plans and standards for the product
• Interact with clinicians and other end users to understand and document business requirements for reports and extracts
• Liaise with business analysts, developers and testing teams for content input and document reviews to ensure that product functionality is well documented and tested appropriately
• Responsible for change management including activation and backout plans
• Maintain written technical documentation detailing the contents and purpose of each report
• Document deliverable(s) for projects and provide timely and accurate reporting of status
• Provide on-call support, analyze and troubleshoot production related issues
• Provide on-site support during activations
• Work directly with clients on reporting needs that require overall product knowledge
• Provide peer review support to work produced by others, confirming use of relevant coding standards
• Maintain report code to enhance functionality and improve efficiency as well as replace obsolete code
• Suggest and implement procedural enhancements and code optimizations
• Proactively understand changes to project scope and make relevant changes to stored procedures and report code
• Participate as needed in other data management and software development needs

Requirements

• Ability to code, maintain, and troubleshoot Medical Logic Modules (MLM) is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2-4 years’ relevant work experience
• Experience in a similar digital healthcare environment would be an advantage
• 2-4 years’ experience in providing technical support and maintenance in assigned product
• Up to 10% travel may be required
• Provides on-call support

• Ability to interpret business needs into report solutions
• Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes
• Software development lifecycle methodology
• Problem solving skills for software support
• Interpret business requirements and design reports accordingly
• Altera Solutions and knowledge of Altera clients and familiarity with the healthcare industry in general

Pay

Salary Range – 80-90k USD
