Major Activities

  • Aid Store Manager in adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to comply with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Ensure execution of Company policies and standards.
  • Hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
  • Manage and support truck processes to meet standards.
  • Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and support the planogram process (POGs).
  • Support the AD set process.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
  • Maintain seasonal sets and the feature space to visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members.
  • Participate in Talent Development activities and Performance Management activities of your team.
  • Utilize leadership competencies for continued self-development.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

  • Public retail store setting taking care of our customers.
  • All public areas are climate controlled.
  • Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled.
  • Some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
  • Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
  • Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

  • Preferred special certifications or technical skills: Retail merchandising and customer service experience preferred.

About the Role

The role involves leading and supporting inventory management and merchandising standards and maintenance, planning for a well-stocked and merchandised store, assisting customers, and delivering friendly customer service. The position requires managing and supporting various processes such as truck processes, planogram processes, and AD set processes. Additionally, the role includes serving as a Manager on Duty (MOD), maintaining seasonal sets and the feature space to visual merchandising standards, and assisting with interviewing, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members.
