Replenishment and Inv Analyst

About the role

Responsible for the inventory and in-stock performance of given categories, including forecasting, receipt flow and planning, replenishment system and order, order accuracy, safety stock, vendor lead times, and distribution center vendor returns.

This is a management-level position (Job Grade 4, Job Tier 2) within the Buying and Merchandising career area. The role is based onsite at HQ in Dallas, Texas; candidates eligible for the Military Spouse Exemption may be considered for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Work with planner to develop the inventory and service plan at sub-class/item level that supports alignment with the assortment fit plan.
• Manage purchases and inventory flow from vendor to distribution center and vendor direct to store door.
• Manage and modify replenishment parameters and settings to achieve sales, inventory, and service plans.
• Manage and monitor vendor delivery performance issues with vendor.
• Work with planning team to manage initial new product orders, new store setup, remodels, store-specific assortments, and distribution center vendor returns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Four years of management-level experience in forecasting, buying, replenishment, allocation, inventory, or materials planning.
• OR a Bachelor’s degree and two years of management-level experience in the same functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or Merchandising.
• Experience with procurement and related replenishment systems.
