Replacement Heavy Equipment Operator (2026 Asphalt Paving Season)

Summary

Operate heavy equipment in a safe, efficient and proper manner to achieve a quality finished product in the paving process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to operate various pieces of heavy equipment such as asphalt pavers, asphalt rollers, asphalt plants, front-end loaders, graders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers.
• Perform general maintenance and inspection on the equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (3) to five (5) years of operating heavy equipment preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain a CDL
• Must have a "Safety First" attitude
• Must follow all Safety Practices, Policies and Procedures
• Able to work outdoors in all seasons
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and unexpected longer hours when necessary
• Be a Team player

Pay

• Base Wage: $ 40.43 per hour
• Vacation: $ 5.00 per hour
• 401k (company contribution): $ 11.60 per hour
• Includes health care coverage for employee and family
