About the role

Perform routes from the HUB to local delivery points using the assigned AutoZone vehicle to cover daily delivery routes, ensuring timely merchandise pickup and delivery to commercial customers while adhering to policies for vehicle use and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise on local routes to commercial customers, meeting delivery times to ensure satisfaction and close sales.
• Provide support at the sales counter for the commercial program module, assisting customers in person or by phone with questions about product availability, specifications, or functionality.
• Complete the vehicle inspection checklist by accurately filling out the logbook.
• Report and follow up on vehicle incidents with the Commercial Manager.
• Process cash payments against invoices and credit card transactions correctly to support product delivery and sales closure.

Requirements

• High school diploma completed.
• One or two years of experience.
• Previous experience as a driver of any type of vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (type "chofer").
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience driving standard (manual) transmission vehicles (e.g., Spark).
