Repairman (Project Crew)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Uses hand and power tools and paint spray equipment according to company procedures and manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Performs sundry duties related to pipeline and station operations and maintenance as assigned by supervision.
• Maintains and repairs the pipeline right-of-way.
• Paints piping, equipment and facilities.
• Installs and maintains pipeline markers.
• Communicates with supervision and other personnel in job-related situations and matters.
• Completes certain routine administrative duties such as Reports of Time Worked, Expense Accounts, Mileage Reports, and Accident Reports.
• Maintains good housekeeping practices.
• Must be willing to work overtime and callouts.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license.
• Lives within 50 miles of the reporting location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background.
• Working knowledge of engines, electric motors, compressors, valves and pipeline equipment.
• Ability to read and understand piping schematics, drawings and operating procedures.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.

Working Conditions

• Driving, walking, and standing frequently.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery.
• Subject to call-out during off-duty hours, including the weekend.
• On the project crew and requires up to 75% travel.
