Repair Welder

About the role

Boruans Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U.S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking a full-time Repair Welder for our Panama City, Florida location.

Primary Duties

• Locate defective welds, remove defect and properly repair and grind to original shape
• Perform visual OD and ID inspection of pipe
• Perform burn-off tasks as needed to maintain production rate
• Maintain required certifications
• Provide assistance to other production areas

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Successfully Complete Practical Skills Assessment
• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred)

• Anniversary % rate increases at 1 year up to 8 years
