Repair Technician-Vacuum

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of vacuum cleaners.
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as motors, brushes, belts, and fans.
  • Perform regular maintenance, including lubrication and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
  • Consult with customers to provide accurate estimates and resolve concerns.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: A love for working with your hands and solving electro-mechanical problems.
  • Skills: Ability to read service manuals, parts catalogs, and circuit diagrams; proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments; strong organizational and time-management skills; excellent written and verbal communication for team and customer interaction.

Qualifications

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift items up to 40 lbs and work in a retail environment around dirt and pet dander (PPE provided).
