The Repair Shop Technician Trainee is a full time, entry level position. A typical day as a Repair Shop Technician Trainee consists of diagnosing broken robotic inspection equipment or cables, repairing equipment, and testing repaired equipment before it goes back into the field. Occasionally, travel to various locations to deliver replacement components to the field. Duties: The employee will learn or assist with the following duties: All repair shop team members must be able to perform or learn the following: Soldering wires and pin bodiesRe-terming all the various cables used by the field crewsProficiently function and leak testing the various equipmentShow an understanding of basic electrical theory and using a Multimeter to troubleshoot problemsHave a safety first mindset, use and maintain shop PPE, and use a fume extractorMaintain a clean and organized workspaceLearn to perform at least the basic repairs on all the equipmentLearn to troubleshoot issues down to the faulty component
