About the role
Christie’s Appliance is hiring an experienced or entry-level Appliance Repair Technician / Service Technician in Tucson, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers)
- Perform appliance repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Provide in-home field service technician support and customer service
- Complete service calls, work orders, and repair documentation
- Maintain parts inventory, tools, and service vehicle
- Communicate with customers and dispatch regarding repair status
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of experience in appliance repair, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance technician roles (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check, MVR check, and drug screening
- Strong customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments (heat and cold)
