Repair Supervisor

About the role

At Transco Rail Services, you'll be part of Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway. We operate a network of facilities and field service teams across North America, supporting industries like transportation, energy, and manufacturing. We're looking for a Repair Supervisor to lead frontline operations, ensure quality and safety, and drive daily execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontline operations and oversee hourly employees
• Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all work activities
• Monitor daily production, track work in process, and update job status
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate progress updates
• Partner with Quality and EHS teams to maintain compliance and audit readiness
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of employees
• Manage materials and equipment in coordination with Materials leadership
• Identify improvement opportunities and support process enhancements
• Address employee relations matters, including coaching and corrective actions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 5+ years of experience in railcar repair, manufacturing, or industrial operations
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
• Knowledge of FRA regulations and AAR Interchange Rules
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
