About the role

The Repair Superintendent will lead field operations, meet project deadlines, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage the repair business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field operations for all elevator repair and testing
  • Meet project deadlines and financial performance targets
  • Ensure a safe working environment through field education training, safety audits, and inspections
  • Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders
  • Forecast and schedule labor resources
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and others
  • Accurately analyze situations and develop contingencies for estimates

Requirements

  • 5+ years of elevator industry experience or experience leading field level associates/technicians in a similar industry
  • Highly preferred: 5+ years in the elevator field, a trade certificate, and/or a University Degree in Engineering
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Experience in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
  • Comfortable in a technical environment using Microsoft based computer software
