Key Responsibilities
- Acts as the liaison between the customer, sales, vendors, engineering, and production departments, determines and provides detailed cost summaries and quotations for repair jobs in the service center.
- Captures and provides work instructions that include all pertinent information needed to process the repair through the service center meeting ISO requirements.
- Analyzes inspection results and works with internal personnel and resources to disposition and create scope of supply required to repair equipment.
- Plans and generates Repair Proposals including labor hours, purchase requirements, work instructions, and total cost.
- Creates and/or reviews drawings per internal procedures and ISO standards.
- Procures all required materials, services, and equipment used in repair jobs for the service center.
- Expedites parts and materials from suppliers to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- To ensure compliance with customer commitments and overall master schedule, communicates regularly with all departments to keep them abreast of coordination activities.
- Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
- Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline (Engineering preferred) or closely related field or equivalent work related experience required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in closely related job/industry, preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
- SAP knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to proactively organize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Basic understanding of ISO, QMS, ESH and ASME, required.
- Preferred knowledge of API standards, Welding properties and procedures, Pump failure analysis, single, multi, horizontal and vertical pumps.
