Repair Cutter

About the Role

Write up any repair due to fabric flaws or human error that requires additional fabric to be re-cut. Assist in the repair process by coordinating with Central Fabric, hand-marking and cutting parts, and ensuring timely delivery of repaired components to operators.

Responsibilities

• Document repairs on a Repair Form and submit it to Central Fabric for needed materials.
• Hand mark and cut fabric parts for repairs, inspecting fabric and matching center points.
• Operate automated cutting machines when hand cutting is not feasible.
• Locate missing parts required to complete items, such as arm caps, pillows, or bases.
• Ensure repaired parts are received from the fabric area and delivered promptly to the requesting operator.
• Maintain a copy of the Repair Form and follow up with customer service within two weeks on "no-fabric" orders awaiting receipt.
• Perform other duties or special/non-routine assignments as instructed.
