About the role

Nikkiso Cryogenic Services is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Repair Coordinator to serve as the central point of coordination for repair operations. This role ensures seamless communication between customers, engineering, shop operations, and procurement while driving efficiency, accuracy, and on-time delivery of repair services. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, shop operations, and procurement to ensure accurate and timely execution of repair jobs.
  • Coordinate and manage repair workflows from intake through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate job documentation, including inspection reports, material usage, and labor hours.
  • Provide proactive, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders regarding job status, scope changes, and delivery timelines.
  • Review completed work orders for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with quoted scope prior to invoicing.
  • Prepare and issue final invoices in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on communication, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, mitigate delays, and drive successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in service coordination, repair operations, production scheduling, or industrial operations.

Skills

  • Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, parts, and basic equipment functions.
  • Working knowledge of quoting, job costing, and invoicing processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial equipment, rotating machinery, or pump repair environments.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and repair components.

Work Environment

  • Combination of office and shop environment with frequent cross-functional interaction.
  • Occasional exposure to industrial noise, temperature variations, and shop conditions.

Safety

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) when in designated areas.
