Repair and Overhaul Shop Lead

About the role

The Repair and Overhaul Shop Lead is responsible for overseeing the repair and overhaul operations within the Gulfstream facility. This individual will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and industry standards, while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the repair and overhaul shop, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Ensure all repairs and overhauls are completed accurately and on time, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and properly maintained.
• Train and mentor technicians to improve their skills and knowledge, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance or repair.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
