Repack Worker

About the role

Clean, label, and repack products for resale ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Opens containers.
• Cleans product prior to repacking.
• Assembles cartons to contain repacked products.
• Loads and unloads product onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Conveys product from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Conveys load to destination with 2-wheeler or signals fork-lift operators to move load to destination.
• Counts and records number of products destroyed.
• Attaches identifying date labels to product containers.
• Stacks or assembles products.
• Cleans work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Stand and reach with hands and arms.
• Walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Communicate with others.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment

• Flexible work schedule.
• Temperature-controlled indoor work environment; noise level is usually moderate.
• This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.
