About the role
The Field Sales & Account Manager will manage, coordinate, and build profitable accounts. You will target and win new and profitable sales with new and existing customers. In addition, you will constantly monitor financial performance and coordinate resources to achieve sales and margin targets. The Field Sales & Account Manager will support the VP of Sales and National Director of Sales in developing market strategy and annual sales budgets and will identify new business and targets. You will also support and work with senior business managers in managing grower partners for key retail businesses.
Responsibilities
- Produce Key Account Plans for major grower/floral accounts or regional retailers
- Develop senior level relationships with all grower/floral customers
- Work with APS team to identify and target cross selling opportunities
- Secure profitable new business year over year within the assigned customer base
- Lead Regional discussions, negotiations and the pricing of all relevant regional Account bids in conjunction with National Director of Sales
- Effectively communicate with THD, TSC, Costco, Kroger and Walmart business leads
- Drive high standards of customer relationship management (CRM) and Sales Plan execution
- Provide accurate short, medium- and long-term reporting and forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities
- Work proactively with Nat Dir. Of Sales to introduce and implement margin enhancement opportunities with all work won
- Develop new business through working with Regional sales teams, new prospects/customers including site visits and phone contact
- Build relationships internally and externally
Requirements
- Degree or 5 years relevant Sales experience
- Proven track record of sales success & delivery
- Proven successful Key Account management experience
- Excellent personal computer skills, including experience with e-mail, social media, word processing and PowerPoint presentations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to communicate verbally and in writing effectively at all levels
- Culturally aware; relevant language skills are desirable
- Effective business presentation skills - ‘one-on-one’ or group settings
- Strong organizational and project management skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $110,625.00 - $184,375.00, depending on role, level, and location.
