About the Role

Service and maintain Rental fleet assets according to job-specific requirements or individual instruction. Prepare and stage equipment per engineering-provided documentation and assist in loading/unloading equipment. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as workload demands.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote technical troubleshooting and repair services on Zeeco combustion rental equipment.
  • Complete all required documentation for services performed in a timely manner and according to company policy.
  • Provide detailed information on tasks completed, including recommendations to benefit the customer, equipment operation, or engineering team.
  • Use electrical skills to troubleshoot the following:
    • Relay panels
    • Basic PLC panels/logic
    • Basic MCP (motor control panels)
    • VFD
    • Step-down transformers
    • Power supplies
    • Electric actuators/transmitters
    • Blower motors
    • Solenoids
  • Use combustion equipment knowledge to diagnose and repair the following:
    • Pilot assemblies
    • Piping assemblies
    • Valves and valve operations
    • Flow/pressure regulation
  • Read and understand electrical schematics and P&IDs.
  • Assist Technician I personnel with reading and understanding electric drawings.
  • Use industry-standard parts nomenclature to request or purchase parts.
  • Operate machines and tools per HSE standards.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of electric and/or gas hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and repair trailer wiring systems.
  • Train other teams on diagnosing and repairing equipment as required.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using hand tools.
  • Prioritize assigned tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Occasionally lead a team member or members on specific tasks.
  • Convey materials to or from storage or work sites using hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, or other devices.
  • Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey loads to destinations using hand-operated cranes or hoists, or signal crane operators to move loads.
  • Locate, stage, and/or organize loose rental assets for future use.
  • Lift heavy objects by hand or using power hoists, and clean work areas, machines, and equipment.
  • Occasionally operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products (Forklift certification required).
  • Clean, sort, and organize shop space as needed.
  • Use basic computer skills to:
    • Submit emails with job-specific reports.
    • Request parts via Zeeco Order Entry.
    • Communicate with PE/PM and other team members on project-specific tasks.
    • Create and/or complete asset inventory reports during quarterly and yearly audits.
    • View and upload project-specific documents.

  • Able to go up and down stairs.
  • Able to stand or be on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Able to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Able to tolerate a shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing; apply appropriate safety equipment when required.
  • Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in Company duties.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
