Rental Yard Porter

Responsibilities

• Preparing equipment: Washing, greasing, checking fluid levels, checking for proper operation, filling out documentation on computer and paperwork, doing minor repairs.
• Loading and unloading: Proper instructions on basic operation, checking for damage on returns, documentation on condition, loading and unloading on trucks and trailers.
• Aiding customers and store: Helping with all departments of the store.
• Sweeping and cleaning: Helping with yard cleaning, yard organizing, cleaning wash bay when needed, trash disposal.
• Assist with composing rental agreements: Additional general labor as assigned.

Qualifications

• Positive outlook and excellent communication
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Exposed to outside elements
• One year general labor experience is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license in good standing
