Rental Yard Associate

About the role

White Cap is hiring immediately for a Rental Yard Associate. The associate removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and the surrounding area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment, ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer, inspects equipment for damage, oils and lubricates tools, prepares and stages rental orders for delivery, and follows company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and the area using hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it is dispatched to customers.
• Inspect all rental equipment for damage and report any damage according to established procedures.
• Oil and lubricate all tools, equipment, and tilt‑up braces according to specifications.
• Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Generally 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Spanish language proficiency.
