RENTAL TECHNICAN (NY)

About the role

This is a hands-on technical position with a nationally recognized leader in broadcast and media technology solutions, based at our Yorktown Heights, NY and St Petersburg, FL facilities. You will work with equipment used in the live event broadcast industry, preparing and delivering broadcast equipment for events ranging from golf tournaments to auto racing, NFL telecasts, and hundreds of other live events.

Responsibilities

• Test video, audio, and communications equipment used for broadcast and live events.
• Fill equipment orders by working from a pick list.
• Pack orders of the tested equipment.
• Check equipment in and out of the facility using a scanner-driven inventory control system.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of previous experience in an A/V or Production environment, using the equipment.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs above shoulder level without assistance.
• Ability to stand, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods of time.
