Rental Shop Attendant

About the role

The EKAL Activities Center is open from May 15 to October 12. The Activities Attendant assists in the day-to-day service operations of the center, its programs, and activations.

Responsibilities

• Assists guests with water sport equipment
• Ensures safety at all times
• Conducts small group activities such as ice cream socials, crafts, etc.
• Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
• Aid in coordinating the activity/event calendar with management and staff
• Schedule games and other in-house activities that align with the resort's needs
• Promote participation during each event
• Provide instructions on safety procedures and ensure waiver forms are completed
• Resolve guest complaints to maintain guest satisfaction
• Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities, services, and the city to assist guests appropriately
• Create an activity calendar for family-friendly activities, including food and beverage activations and special events

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about water sports and safety procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
• Positive and friendly demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
