Rental Service Supervisor

Currently in its third generation of family ownership and management, the company spans six states – West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine with 19 branch locations.

Responsibilities

The Rental Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Rental Fleet is properly documented, accounted for, maintained, checked in/out and is ready for rental. The Supervisor reports to the Branch Service Manager and must proactively communicate all equipment issues, service needs, and scheduling issues with the Service Manager.

• Performing machine check-ins when machines come off rent or are put in the fleet.
• Accurate documentation and system updates are critical.
• Updating equipment notes for status and rental period changes.
• Scheduling Rental Technician to do scheduled maintenance, repairs, KOWA samples, etc.
• Filing Warranty Claims.
• Supporting the Service Manager in performance of Safety training, inspections, procedures.
• Backing up Service Manager when out or busy by answering calls, maintaining documentation, approving technician hours, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Service Department.
• Experience as Rental Agent or Rental Supervisor in heavy equipment or auto industry.
• Experience coordinating work with other departments to achieve results.
• Strong technical competence in mechanical functions and specialized equipment repair.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to service operations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay

Compensation Range is $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience and achievements.
